I posted about handing my 2 weeks in while my boss was on vacation. Gave m. Letter to head of hr which was a solid convo because she likes me. She called my boss who then called me about 20min. Later. Pretty satisfying hearing all the power sucked out of your boss’ voice.
Last day is the 28th. Party on Garth

My last job was in a 50-person startup with two co-CEOs, one of whom I reported to. After a while the org shifted and I started to make less sense there. We struggled with that for a while, and he was probably not surprised by it, but I tied up my next thing when he was on vacation, and I had to give notice via the other CEO. I felt kinda bad about that, but them’s the breaks.

Abusive workplace?
Back when I ran the maintenance dept for a property management company I took an extended weekend and never went back. As I was settling in at my hotel my boss from corporate called. “Rumor is that you aren’t coming back. Is that true?” We then had a long conversation about their culture and where they could find my apartment keys.
It felt good.
